Liverpool SEO consultant for small businesses
Local SEO is about being found by people near you who need what you do. I work as an SEO consultant for small Liverpool businesses, finding what is holding your website back in search and then adding the pages and content that bring in enquiries.
How it works
- An SEO audit first. Unless you have already had one through the free mini-audit, every retainer starts with a full look at your site: what Google can see, what you already rank for, and what the businesses above you have that you do not.
- Fix the foundations. Page titles, page content and internal links, so Google understands what you do and where you do it.
- Build every month. New pages and content planned around what your customers search for, so the site keeps gaining ground.
A monthly SEO retainer
SEO works over months, not weeks. That is why it runs as a monthly retainer with a three-month minimum: long enough to fix the foundations and start seeing movement in Search Console, without tying you into a year-long contract.
You deal with me directly throughout. No account managers, no handoffs.
The experience behind it
Over a decade working in and around digital marketing agencies. For First Response Finance, months of consistent, data-led work on their main hub page took it from page 4 of Google back to page 1. For Outlook Energy Solutions, ongoing SEO content was used to build their organic presence and bring in more enquiry form submissions.
Who this suits
Trades, salons, shops and independent businesses across Liverpool that want more of their customers to find them on Google, and would rather work with one person who does the work than an agency.
Questions people ask
How long does SEO take to work?
It depends on your site, your competition and where you are starting from. Fixes to an established site can show in weeks. A newer site usually takes several months. I will tell you what is realistic for your market after the audit.
Why is there a three-month minimum?
The first month is mostly the audit and the fixes. New content needs time to be found and ranked. Three months is the shortest period in which you can fairly judge whether it is working.
What happens after the first three months?
We agree what comes next together, whether that is another three months or whatever suits you.
Do you guarantee rankings?
No. Anyone who guarantees a position on Google is either guessing or using tactics that put your site at risk. After the audit I will tell you honestly what is achievable.
Do you manage Google Business Profiles?
Not as a separate service. Your Google Business Profile needs to be set up and verified by you as the business owner, but if you get stuck, I am happy to lend a hand.
How much does it cost?
Retainers start from £400 a month for 8 hours of work, with larger tiers at £600 and £800. See my pricing page for what each one includes.
